On The Train
The passenger cars might not be as modern as some European train services but feature comfortable reclining seats with much more space than a plane as well as tray tables and power outlets. There is free wi-fi, bike racks, luggage racks as well as a free generous luggage baggage policy. The trains also have a Market Cafe with a seating area serving fresh food, snacks and beverages including California wines, cocktails and local beers. One note is the Market Cafe does close for brief periods for restocking but if you have to wait there is more time to enjoy the great views out of the window.
